Founded in 2002, Birleşim Group has acted with the logic of "strength comes from unity" by adding the knowledge and experience of its employees to its engineering power since the day it started its commercial activities, and has gained added value from synergy by bringing together different sector business lines and disciplines to this accumulation and has become one of the leading companies of our country by realizing its goals in 20 years.

In addition to areas such as the mechanical and electrical engineering group and the construction sector, which it has been serving since its establishment, it set the goal of investing in the energy sector in 2020 and realized this goal by purchasing Edikli Ges Enerji AŞ (Niğde Edikli 15.23 Mw) in early 2020. Subsequently, it established Uluder Elektrik AŞ (Kahramanmaraş, Elbistan 15.82 Mw) and finally, in late 2021, it acquired Gülbahar Elektrik Üretim AŞ (Bitlis, Adilcevaz 24.2 Mw) and became the owner of 3 "licensed solar power plants" (SPP) with a total installed capacity of 55 Mw.

Birleşim Grup Enerji Yatırımları AŞ has set out to minimize the imported raw material input of our country's energy needs, such as imported coal and natural gas, which are supplied from abroad and therefore cause a current foreign currency deficit, and in our country, which is one of the world's leading solar energy areas with a sunshine duration of 2.738 hours and a solar radiation value of 1527 kWh / m2, it shows its determination to invest in the renewable energy sector, primarily solar energy, and thus to contribute to the national economy and to protect the environment and nature with the carbon emissions it prevents.

Mesut Altan

Mesut Altan graduated from Yıldız Technical University Mechanical Engineering in 1995. Between 1995 and 2002 of his career, he worked as Project Coordinator at Cantes Klima. In 2002, he resigned from this company and founded Birleşim Mühendislik AŞ, which provides mechanical system solutions. In accordance with the goal of establishing Birleşim Group companies, he added Birleşim İnşaat AŞ and Birleşim Makina AŞ to group companies in 2006 and 2011, respectively. In 2014, Mr. Altan signed a strategic partnership agreement to purchase 100% of Erde Mühendislik, which is one of the pioneer companies in electrical contracting industry and founded an engineering firm that creates electromechanical contracting solutions to be one of the first in its industry with Birleşim Mühendislik. He made investments in hospitality industry by opening Ataşehir Park-Inn by Radisson Hotel in 2016 and in heavy machinery industry by incorporating Toro Makina AŞ to its group companies in 2018. As of 2020, Birleşim Grup Enerji Yatırımları AŞ - BYE, which started to serve in the field of renewable energy, has included Edikli SPP, Uluder SPP and Gülbahar SPP plants, all of which are licensed, respectively, under its roof. While realizing the Menekşe WPP investment in the field of wind energy, ZEN Energy was added to the energy group in 2023. With Zen Energy, solar power plants with a total installed capacity of 48 MWp were commissioned in Burdur, Eskişehir, Kırıkkale, Kütahya, Isparta and Uşak.Solar Santral Enerji AŞ, a company that has been active in all aspects of solar power plant Project development, installation, and financing since 2020, became a Birleşim Group subsidiary at the end of 2022 after a 70% stake was acquired in the company.Mesut Altan acts as the Chair of the Board and Deputy Chair of the Board at Birleşim Mühendislik AŞ, Erde Mühendislik A.Ş., Solar Santral Enerji AŞ, Birleşim Grup Enerji Yatırımları AŞ, Birleşim Makina AŞ, Birleşim İnşaat AŞ within Birleşim Group companies.

İdris Çakır

Levent Gülbahar

Levent Gülbahar graduated as an electronics engineer from ITU Faculty of Electrical and Electronics in 1980 and as an electronics graduate engineer from ITU in 1982. In 1980, Levent Gülbahar started his business life in ITT - Schaub Lorenz company and held senior positions in Siemens, Inform, Anel, Canovate, DMY and Desiba companies, respectively. In 2019, he started to work as Energy Investments Coordinator in Erde Mühendislik company affiliated to Birleşim Group of Companies, and was appointed as the general manager of Edikli GES in 2020 and Birleşim Grup Enerji company in 2022. Since 2023, he has been serving as a member of the board of directors as well as the general manager of Birleşim Grup Enerji.In 2007, Levent Gülbahar, who produced Turkey's first domestic PV-Solar Panel and established the first solar power plant in Cyprus in 2008, was the founding president of GENSED - Solar Energy Industry and Industry Association in 2009. He is one of the main actors in the solar energy sector of our country and has been working for the growth of the sector for 18 years. Until today, he has been involved in the installation of more than 200 MW SPP projects, has been the general manager of a company producing PV - Solar panels with a capacity of 300 MW and has taken part in the management of Mavisis, the first domestic solar inverter manufacturer in Turkey.

Prof. Dr. Şener Oktik

Şener Oktik graduated from Ankara University in 1976 as a "Physicist" and in 1977 as a "Physics Engineer" in the field of applied physics. He received his PhD degree from the Department of Applied Physics and Electronics, Durham University (UK) in 1982, followed by the titles of Associate Professor in 1986 and Professor in 1995 in the field of applied solid state physics. In his academic career, he has worked as a lecturer, researcher, senior specialist researcher and manager, senior manager at Durham University (UK), Lecce University (Italy), Stuttgart University (Germany) in international institutions and Selçuk University (Konya), Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University in national institutions. He is currently a faculty member at Kadir Has University.In industry, he has worked as senior expert scientist, senior expert technologist and senior manager in international (BP Solar Sunbury in the UK, Imperial Chemical Industries PLC Paints Division Slough, Industrial Research Labs of Durham University, Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg (ZSW) in Germany) and national (Anel Group, Arıkanlı Holding and Şişecam) research and technological development laboratories.

Alev Dumanlı

Alev Dumanlı graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Economics in 1987. Alev Dumanlı worked as an independent auditor at KPMG and Deloitte between 1988 and 1992, and served as the Responsible Manager at Borsa Istanbul Listing Department between 1992 and 2017. In the Listing Department, she was responsible for evaluating the applications of companies to be traded on Borsa Istanbul after their public offering, evaluating the status of listed companies against Borsa Istanbul's listing legislation, re-drafting the listing legislation in accordance with the Capital Markets Law and CMB regulations, and working on public disclosure and corporate governance practices. He currently serves as an Independent Board Member at Birleşim Mühendislik Isıtma Soğutma Havalandırma Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., Çuhadaroğlu Metal Sanayi ve Pazarlama A.Ş., Sanifoam Endüstri ve Tüketin Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., Lider Faktoring A.Ş. and Koleksiyon Mobilya Sanayi A.Ş.Alev Dumanlı holds SMMM, Capital Market Activities Level 3 and Corporate Governance Rating Licenses.Alev Dumanlı graduated from Ankara University
